Defect description

Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) is recalling certain 2025 Can-Am Origin and Pulse electric motorcycles. The breather valve may not seal properly and allow moisture or water to enter the high voltage battery.

Safety risk

Water in the battery can result in a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. In addition, this could lead to a battery fire when parked or riding, increasing the risk of injury.

Manufacturer remedy

Dealers will install a new protection plate or replace the breather valve if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 2, 2025. Owners may contact BRP customer service at 1-888-272-9222.
