Defect description

Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2025 G5 transit buses built on a GM chassis and equipped with a second air conditioning compressor kit. The drive belt pulley may contact and damage the the oil lines.

Safety risk

A damaged oil like may leak, increasing the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.

Manufacturer remedy

Dealers will secure the oil lines, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 29, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 26-121-OUC.
