POSSIBILITY THAT THE GEARSHIFT LEVER STOP PLATE WAS NOT CORRECTLY POSITIONED.IF THIS PLATE IS NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY, THE REVERSE GEAR LOCKING DEVICE BECOMES INEFFECTIVE.DUE TO THIS, AN INADVERTENT SHIFT INTO REVERSE IS POSSIBLE.(REPOSITION AND ADJUST THE GEARSHIFT LEVER STOP PLATE AS REQUIRED.)
