Defect description

THE ENGINE COOLING FAN BLADES MAY CRACK UNDER HIGH SPEED OPERATING CONDITIONS. FRAGMENTS MAY SEPARATE AND DAMAGE THE ENGINE COMPONENTS, AND IF THE HOOD IS OPEN AND THE ENGINE IS RUNNING, BLADE FRAGMENTS COULD FLY OUT FROM THE VEHICLE AND INJURE NEARBY PERSONS.

Manufacturer remedy

THE DEALER WILL, WHERE NECESSARY, INSTALL A NEW FAN FREE OF CHARGE.
