Defect description

Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) is recalling certain 2026 RM500 and RM700 trailers. The wireless handheld remote control may be incompatible with some legacy winches, resulting in unexpected winch movements.

Safety risk

A winch that operates unintentionally may increase the risk of injury.

Manufacturer remedy

ATC will replace the wireless remote or provide a refund, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2026. Owners may call ATC customer service at 1-877-441-2440.
