Defect description

Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Model Z trailers. The shock bolts may have been incorrectly tightened.

Safety risk

Broken shock retainer bolt heads and washers may detach and become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Manufacturer remedy

Dealers will replace the shock bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 3, 2026. Owner notification letters were mailed June 3, 2026. Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2026 Model Z trailers. The shore power inlet lugs may have been improperly tightened.

Safety risk

The wires may loosen and overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Manufacturer remedy

Dealers will inspect and properly tighten the lugs as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 2, 2026. Owners may contact Brinkley's customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is REC-2601.
