Defect description

ON CERTAIN MOBILE CRANES EQUIPPED WITH ZF SERVOCOM DUAL CIRCUIT STEERING BOXES, TEMPORARY FAILURE OF THE STEERING ASSISTANCE DURING EMERGENCY OPERATION CAN OCCUR.

Safety risk

STEERING WHILE DRIVING IS NOT POSSIBLE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Manufacturer remedy

THE STEERING GEAR BOXES WILL BE REPLACED ON THE AFFECTED VEHICLES.
