Defect description

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025 Serenova travel trailers. The axle bearing nut may have been improperly tightened, causing the bearings to overheat.

Safety risk

Overheated bearings can increase the risk of a fire or cause the tire to detach from the travel trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.

Manufacturer remedy

Dealers will inspect and replace the bearings as needed, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 25, 2025. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is 910049.
