Defect description

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CLASS 4 AND 5 TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH J05C-TB DIESEL ENGINES. A FUEL FILTER WAS DAMAGED DURING THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF THE FILTER ELEMENT.

Safety risk

THIS DAMAGED FUEL FILTER CAN CRACK AND RESULT IN A DIESEL FUEL LEAK.

Manufacturer remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FUEL FILTER ON THESE VEHICLES.
