Defect description

Hino Motors Sales U.S.A., Inc. (Hino) is recalling certain 2022-2025 NH7A, NJ7A, NJ7B, NJ7C, NV7A, NV7B, and NV7C trucks. Contact with the fender can damage the front right brake tube and cause a leak.

Safety risk

A leaking brake tube can delay the front brake actuation time, extending the distance required to stop and increasing the risk of a crash.

Manufacturer remedy

Dealers will inspect, secure, or replace the air tube as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 4, 2025. Owners may contact Hino customer service at 1-248-699-9390. Hino's number for this recall is AB2Q0.
