International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2025-2027 IC Bus CECB transit buses. The driver's window panel and entrance door vertical joints may have been attached without sufficient epoxy coverage. As such these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 221, "School Bus Body Joint Strength."
Safety risk
The body panels may separate during a crash, reducing structural integrity and increasing the risk of injury.
Manufacturer remedy
Dealers will install rivets along the driver's side window seam and entrance door seam, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 8, 2026. Owners may contact International's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 26512.
International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2026 IC Bus CECB buses. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
Safety risk
An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.
Manufacturer remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 16, 2026. International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2026 IC Bus CECB commercial buses. The weld on the crank shaft assembly may fail, preventing the the left-side wiper from working.
Safety risk
An inoperative wiper can reduce the driver's ability to see out of the windshield, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will inspect and replace the windshield wiper module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 27, 2025. International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2025-2026 IC Bus CECB commercial buses. A tire may contact and damage the air dryer discharge line, causing an air leak and the unintentional activation of the parking brake.
