Defect description

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CEMENT MIXERS EQUIPPED WITH RIDEWELL FRONT AIR RIDE SUSPENSIONS. THE HANGER FRONT SUSPENSION IS WEAK AND CAN FAIL.

Safety risk

FRONT STEERING WHEELS CAN COME LOOSE FROM THE FRAME RESULTING IN A LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE.

Manufacturer remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE RIDEWELL FRONT AIR RIDE SUSPENSION WITH CONVENTIONAL SPRING SUSPENSIONS.
