Defect description
Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2026 G5 and 2024 MB II school buses built on a GM chassis and equipped with a second air conditioning compressor kit. The drive belt pulley may contact and damage the the oil lines.
Safety risk
A damaged oil like may leak, increasing the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.
Manufacturer remedy

Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2003-2026 MB II, 2006-2026 G5, and 2015-2026 T-Series school buses. An installation error may prevent the wheelchair tie-downs from locking, leaving the wheelchair improperly secured.

Safety risk
A loose power cable connection may cause the control board to overheat and melt, increasing the risk of a fire.

Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2026 G5 and 2025 T-Series school buses equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2025 G5 transit buses equipped with a power-assisted service door. The rod-eye rings attaching the front and rear door panels to the opening gear may delaminate, preventing the door from being controlled by the driver.
Safety risk
The door panel may remain in the open position or open unexpectedly, increasing the risk of passenger being injured falling out of the bus.

Dealers will inspect the service door mechanism for signs of rod-eye ring delamination and repair the mechanism as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 7, 2025. Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2011-2025 Micro Bird G5 school buses, equipped with certain tracked 2-place seats with lap and shoulder seat belts. The seats may be improperly attached. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
Safety risk
An improperly attached seat can detach in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Manufacturer remedy
