Defect description
Temsa is recalling certain 2022-2025 TS30, 2023-2024 TS45, 2024 TS35, and 2025 TS45E vehicles. The lock mechanism may have been installed incorrectly, causing the roof hatch release handle to break.
Safety risk
A broken handle could prevent or delay occupants from exiting the vehicle during an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.
Manufacturer remedy
Temsa will inspect and repair the mounting surface, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 24, 2025. Owners may contact Temsa customer service at 1-833-628-3672.
Temsa is recalling certain 2021-2025 TS30, TS35, and 2021-2026 TS45 buses equipped with a Mux5-B multiplex. The temporary bus stop valve may activate unintentionally and apply the brakes, causing them to overheat.
Safety risk
Brakes that overheat can increase the risk of a fire.
Manufacturer remedy
Temsa will inspect the multiplex, update the software, and repair the wiring harness as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 11, 2025. Owners may contact Temsa customer service at 1-833-628-3672.
Temsa is recalling certain 2024-2025 TS45 transit buses. The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) listed on the certification label is incorrect. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."
Safety risk
An incorrect weight rating may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Manufacturer remedy
Temsa service centers will replace the certification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 27, 2025. Owners may contact Temsa customer service at 1-833-628-3672.
