ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES, THE STEERING COLUMN ADAPTER CAN CONTACT AND EVENTUALLY CUT THROUGH THE STEERING SHAFT.
DEALER WILL INSPECT AND, IF NECESSARY, REPLACE THE STEERING SHAFT, WITHOUT CHARGE TO OWNER.
A "SPEED NUT", WHICH RETAINS THE STEERING COLUMN BOOT TO THE TOEBOARD, CAN CUT THROUGH THE STEERING COLUMN.
A NEW DESIGN STEERING COLUMN ADAPTER WILL BE INSTALLED ON ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES. IF STEERING COLUMN IS DAMAGED, IT WILL BE REPLACED.
