Nova Bus is recalling certain model year 2001-2004 LFS buses manufactured January 1, 2001, to December 31, 2004. The affected vehicles have certain air hoses that may have been incorrectly connected to the R14 valve, causing a delay when applying the parking brake.
Safety risk
A delay in the application of the parking brake may result in the bus rolling forward or rearward a few feet, increasing the risk of a crash.
Manufacturer remedy
Nova Bus is confirming that all buses were inspected and repaired. Nova Bus will notify the owner of any unremedied bus and dealers will correct the hose connection, free of charge. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-450-472-6410. Nova Bus' number for this recall is CR3405.
