Defect description

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2026 Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Compass, Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Jeep Grand Wagoneer L, Ram Promaster, Ram Promaster EV, Ram 1500, Ram 2500, Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid, Chrysler Voyager, and 2026-2027 Chrysler Pacifica and Dodge Charger vehicles. The rearview camera image may fail to display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Safety risk

A rearview camera image that fails to display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Manufacturer remedy

Radio software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning September 2, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 78D. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov on August 20, 2026.

Defect description

Braun Corporation (Braun) is recalling certain 2026 Ram ProMaster vehicles equipped with Q'Straint's One-Combo Belt, with part number TX11258-BA. The wheelchair seat belts may have incompatible connectors and fail to properly restrain occupants.

Safety risk

Improperly restrained occupants have an increased risk of injury during a crash.

Manufacturer remedy

Dealers will replace the seat belt, free of charge. Owners may contact Braun's customer service at 1-800-488-0359.

Braun Corporation (Braun) is recalling certain 2026 Ram ProMaster vehicles. The rear bench may have only two of four seat legs installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, "Seating Systems."

Safety risk

An incomplete seat may not properly restrain an occupant, increasing risk of injury during a crash.

Manufacturer remedy

Dealers will install two additional seat legs, free of charge. Owners may contact Braun customer service at 1-800-488-0359.

Defect description

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2018-2026 Ram ProMaster vehicles. The electrical circuit for the radiator fan may overheat.

Safety risk

Electrical circuits that overheat increase the risk of a fire.

Manufacturer remedy

Dealers will replace the cooling fan module and fuse. In addition dealers will provide an addendum for the manual and label for the power distribution center. Some interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed December 11, 2025. Some owner notification letters were mailed beginning December 11, 2025. Additional owner notification letters were mailed in January, March, and June 2026. Remaining owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's numbers for this recall are 67C, B3C, and C9C. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 30, 2025.
